[Amc-list] 660 classic forund in a river bank

Hey Guys-

So i have been talking about my rambler alot latley. my father in law says 
his parents had a rambler and it was his first car he drove when he was 16. 
when the car died they they pushed it on to the river bank to keep the bank 
from eroding. it is sad but in the Midwest we sometimes dump trash in a 
ditch to control erosion.

Anyway it was put there in the mid 70's with a 62' impala. eventhough he 
hadden met his wife at the time i told him he should have thought of me when 
he pushed the car in the river bank. we did not think it would be there but 
it was worth a try.

we set out today to the old farm. if anyone has watched the weather latley, 
missouri has had 100 degree days for the last 2 weeks and today was no 
exception. at a nice 104 degree temp today we walked down the trail. we came 
across an old tired bridge and below it was the 60's rambler classic with 
660 on the trunk lid.

now the roof has been ripped off and the hood is nolonger. but the engine is 
there (V8) with no valve covers. the rest of the car is burried in the river 
bank to windows. i know the car is not salvageable. but some parts are still 
there.

i shoud have picks on my blog soon, i will be selling anything i can salvage 
or can't use.
