I have a Sears portable torch kit (MAPP/oxygen) that
came with a DOT Exempt Oxygen (disposable) cylinder
(3000 psi) that you can't find anymore. Sears doesn't
have a part number for it either.

I want to convert the regulator to standard oxygen
fittings. My local welding shop says they can sell me
a new torch set (duh) but they won't tamper with my
regulator. I checked with Praxair and they said
they'd get back to me....

I'll check with Airgas here in town soon. What I
really need is the correct CGA nipple that will
connect to a small refillable oxygen tank. The
regulator is rated for 3000 psi on the high side so I
want this to be safe. Has anyone ever had a
regulatory worked on, say by a mail order type
company? Can you recommend anyone?
