I went to the two local Pull a Part junkyards yesterday and I counted
about 8 AMC 360 V8 engines, complete, still in their assorted Grand
Wagoneers and FSJ Cherokees.  Price, intake to oil pan, sans
accessories, plus core charge, less then $200. 
Same deal for the 401 engine I found there a year or so ago. 
360s are currently still very common around Atlanta. 

There's an 89 Grand Wagoneer there now that obviously has
been off the road for years-due to body damage. 

Good likelihood that it
received that damage early in its life and was just parked with low
miles. 
 
They are still out there, but lots of times you just have to put some
effort into looking for them.

once again you fail miserably at what we all have told you.WTF 350 besides what  
came in 60's & early 70's GM cars have high H.P? and what you want as far as  
performance WILL cost you an arm and a leg. unless you sell crack or steal 
the  parts.and it would be the Chevy crew that would string you up and hang your 
ass  if you dropped a Fuelie small block from a 61 Vette in a 'Gremlin'.And 
if your  engne died and you cannot find an AMC motor,look for something besides 
a chevy  350 because i don't give a crap if you think its not boring whereas 
99.9% out  there DO,use another makes engine for christ's sake.DARE TO BE 
DIFFERENT! ok Mr.  Lemming!

Take a weekender 'n visit Yankee Friendly GEORGIA!  

Take two or three 360s home for insurance - all for under a 'G' note - won't get a '61 Fulie for that !


For being an AMC 'Ground-Breaker' running an AMC TURBO '6' - how is it you're
showing up HERE of all places talkin' an 'Antique' '61 Chevie going into a GREMLIN ?



Bad enough in a HORNET - but in a GREMLIN - sacramental manduction refute !



360 heads flow better than the 354-392 HEMI Chryslers in STOCK FORM !
