Good to see all of those thoughtful posts, some not so nice, but what the
heck. Some seem to think there are AMC V-8 engines lying around all over the
place, maybe, but not here. I think all of the AMC cars have been crushed
and the engines used for boat anchors or something. The last Gremlin I saw,
other than mine, was about four or five years ago. It had a SBC and would
really smoke the tires. In all of my years going to the salvage yard I never
saw a V-8 engine in a Gremlin, Hornet, or Concord. I did see a 401 in a
Grand Wagoneer but that was about 10 years ago. I bought my Gremlin new and
don't plan on selling it so price isn't a problem. It's never been in a show
and probably won't be. I don't think they have AMC shows in this area. If
you would like to see my Gremlin and learn more about it go to:
http://www.gremlinx.com/index.htm. Some really great looking Gremlins on
this site.

See thinking is what's getting you in trouble my friend, try to refrain from
doing so so much in the future and you'll be ok.AMC produced their cars in a
much less no. than that of the big three. Also once again myself and others
have told you ask and ye shall find what your looking for on here ONLINE ect. My
AMC pwd Gremlin runs high 11's ALL MOTOR in the q mile, so please don't
think that just because your friend has a 350 pwd Grem that its the only game in
town. And if we wanna play patty cake with who's friend has what bad ass
gremlin then look again on the gremlinx.com site and look for a black tubbed out
Gremlin that belongs to a Todd DeJarnette 401 AMC Gremlin that's in the low
9's ALL MOTOR! Don't come on here and try telling us how great or better
dropping a Chevy engine in our AMC's once again someone brings a pair of toenail
clippers to a bazooka fight on here!
