A: I got a can of stuff that had a similar problem. Turned out the can of 
liquid had been left where it could freeze (despite it saying clearly on the 
can not to be above or below certain temps) I have a old can of Bill 
Hirsch's stuff I might use on the '82 Spirit's tank (unless it looks too 
cruddy when I drop it out. Lots of rust specs came up the fuel lines so far 
and clogged up several inline filters)
   I found out the NAPA number for the gas tank (Eagle, Hornet, hopefully my 
'82 Spirit and ?) is BK #200-2180 (made by Spectra AFAIK)

I recall now you saying this. Not sure what to do -- the only
place I
could find that did this wants $550 (yes, half a thousand) to
boil it
out. Mine's not leaking, just rusty and dirty. Not much of a
chance
finding a good tank for a 63 American. I'll have to do more
research.
