I may be late in chimming in on this subject, (I've been away), here you go 
anyway. I'll have to check the brand name when I get home, but I have some 
gas tank sealer that actually works and doesn't come off. I bought it at a 
Model A parts store. ALOT of Model A's have it in the tanks including my 
father's that has had it in there for at least 15 years. I bought it to put 
in my 73 Honda's gas tank. After 4 years it still looks the same as when I 
applied it.
