You'll need a V8 crossmember from any of the following vehicles 1970-77 Hornet V8 1972-76 Gremlin V8 1978-79 Concord V8 1979 Spirit V8 1966-69 Rambler American,Rogue,SC/Rambler V8 the above crossmembers are bolt in and are the same. WHen you mentioned a 4 speed is that a BW T10? if so they are of course a bolt in item as well since the 66-69 American,Rogue and SC/Rambler had them factory. As for a rear end to bolster the 343's power i suggest a AMC model 20 from a 68-70 Javelin or AMX.the 71-74 Javelin axle is too wide to use. Now some here will suggest you keep the 6 and garnish it with 15 hairdryer turdblows 'turbo's' but nothing sounds sweeter than a well tuned V8 coming from a lil car like a Rambler American.Good luck wih your project.
