Re: [Amc-list] Jeep Clutch Hydraulics

" From: Wrambler242@xxxxxxxxxxx
"
" I'd like to know what is up with the different years.
" Rock auto lists seperate parts, but I did not see any sign of the system being friendly to taking it apart.
" Ebay sellers list a 94-96 setup for $90. 1997 at $190 and 98-01 at $170! I know the 99- 01 went to a different trans.
" It would be nice if the 94-96 would work. I'm figuring they changed things in the pedal ratio/dash or firewall on the 97 then changed again for the new trans.

it could be something mindless like some years have bleeders while
some don't, or just a different supplier. i know the bellhousing
changed when they went from the internal slave to the external but
i hadn't heard of another change. wonder what the part numbers are
for the clutch arm and clutch pedal / pedal assembly?

the nvg3550 has the same bolt pattern as the ax15, so they didn't
-have- to change anything for it.
