A local had a model T for years with a big block, wire fronts, no front brakes, drum rears!
He swore it stopped really well because it had a big set of M/T prot street tires on the rear.
  I wouldn't die in it and told him he was completely nuts. [When I typed the preceeding I thought RIDE and typed DIE !]....My fingers knew what I meant!
