did not put anything over the rod bolts and they put gouges in the crank.
The engine parts were all new, block board ,crank ground. Tried  to turn
engine over to get no. 1 cyl in position for putting in Distributor. When
taken apart two sets of bearings had a groove cut in them from the gouge in
the crank a third journal had a groove about half way through. pretty sad
