I claim NO knowledgeof the manual trans stuff back that far!!! :]
I got myself in enough trouble mentioning the aluminum trans that came out fo my brothers 66 Marlin!
I do agree that I would choose the OD stick shift trans over the automatic.
Don't get in too much of a hurry and the stuff will show up. Theres not a lot of it left around, but I see it come up on Ebay from time to time.
