[Amc-list] Weber carbs

I have been told by a couple of guys that replacing my Carter WCD carb on my 
232 will improve the throttle response quite a bit, I would hope so for 
$400. +.

I ended up replacing the insulator below the carb on my car as the original 
was all cracked and fell apart when I removed it from the bottom of the carb 
yesterday.  Blaser was the only vendor that had a NEW insulator (with both 
gaskets included). There are darn few used insulators out there and I was 
afraid they would break up as mine did. So I bit the bullet and got a new 
one. I should have the old American convertible running again this weekend.
