Dave,

Advise your friend that the rust on the rear of the
front fenders is a dead giveaway for the very common
cowl rust on these cars.  I junked a 62 wagon last
year because I thought the cowl rust was too severe to
repair.  Advise him to pull those fenders and inspect
the front a pillars before he spends any serious money
on the car.  Just my 0.02.
