hey jeff- how are you? 
so on this post do you mean that if I can find one of these fords, then I can replace the carb on my 79 pacer v8, or 74 ambo 360 v8 with a throtle body carb. is it hard to do, or very complicated? what does it connect to electrically, the existing motorcrap ingintion module? just wondering how is works and is controlled. I know my 83 alliance had the TBI but really not sure how it all works. regards, and thanks, ken. boston

The Ford TBI from about 83-86 or thereabouts was found on the T-bird/Cougar, 
Mustang, Town Car, LTD/Marquis, and the LTD Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis. The 
Ford TBI throttle body will directly bolt to an AMC V8 2-barrel manifold, as it 
has the exact same footprint as the Motorcraft 2100 carb that is ubiquitous to 
AMC usage. No adapter needed!
