i've seen something online about putting '90s crown vic rear disks on
jeeps with the '80s d35 or d44.  as i said before, the amc20,
non-c-clip ['80s] d35, xj d44, and 'small bearing' ford rear ends all
have the same housing flange bolt pattern.

digression - i wonder what the amc15hd used in early xjs had?
