Oh Yeah great site, I posted this same site a few months or something back.
I'm thoroughly impressed. I love those pictures of the 1970 Number 6 Penske
prepared Donohue driven Javelin. That car is the pivotal machine that put
AMC in the Trans AM lap of domination. After that season the other Auto
makers decided to give up and not compete against AMC and Penske/Donohue
because they already knew that 1971 belonged entirely to AMC and
Penske/Donohue. Then to top it all off 1972 was also an AMC year in Trans
AM. Oh for the glory days.

Mr. Mahoney, I would love to read one of your great writes about the AMC
Trans AM history ! !
