I agree with the others,
If your engine is in good condition, don't bother with the 4.0L or the multiport efi.
I personally would use the howell.
We've had one or two list members over the years that installed Howell/GM TBI units and once they were up and running they worked well from what I remember.
  I didn't  notice anywhere what year Eagle you have. The only thing I would consider changing out would be the plastic valve cover if it happens to have one.
  If the engine dies or is troublesome,leaking, etc; I'd consider getting a 4.0L at that point.
Or if you tow, haul a lot of people, stuff, then I'd consider building a stroker.
