[Amc-list] Kelley tires is just like Oreo cookies...

...black on the outside, white in the middle. How do I happen to know
this? The driver's side outer tie rod end broke on my 96 Ram today
leaving the house. The lower control arm was in a convenient place to
catch the rest of the tie rod so it didn't hit the ground. It also was
in the right location to ensure that the end of the tie rod was shoved
into the tire when the wheel was turned to the left, plowing through the
belts which are white.

I also learned today what it sounds like when a tie rod end is shoved
into a tire (pretty much the same sound you get when stopping with
brakes after the linings are mostly gone) and when you're going about 15
mph and one of the front tires turns all of a sudden, a 96 Ram will jump
around more than a hyperactive 5 year old on Pixie Stix and Mountain Dew.
