 I'm havig problems getting  a title for a 1965 Amer.330 S/W I bought
here
in NJ on a bill of sale.

The DMV wont give me a title although I went 
thru
a title co. in Las Vegas and got a reg. a bill of sale and a title
exemption declaration.
 I was told I'd have to go to Trenton and would probablygiven a 
salvage
title.That's an expensive proposition here in the Socialist Republic 
of
New Jersey.
 My solution is to buy a vin tag and title from a train wreck parts
car.Anyone wih a 1965 330 S/W please contact me.

the Women, the Beaches, the Music, the Money and
the Scenery......... 

no friends at the DMV sucks 2./

maybe copy all you have with Pictures - send it to the new Governor 
and
head of DMV Registered mail 
and send them both a FAX
pointing out that New Jersey has been traditionally an Antique
Car Friendly State - that you HAVE met legal requirements - and
that this obviously isn't an attempt at 'Re-Tagging' a Rolls-Royce
Cornische - ......... hell....... drop Springsteens' name if it'll 
help..........tell 'em you met 'im at The Stone Pony...... I know the 
former Governor loved that place.............;)

might try to reg. it in some other 'friendly' State first,
if they bums rush
you - or some 'Rural' Jersey DMV where you can 'wink' alot -

wasn't there a discussion on this awhile back ?...........
no...... not the ladies crying over ""Legalities"" and 
pop rivets......... the 'easy states'......... where they
still have free coffee where you 'pick up your tags'......
and where the VINs is located on a '65 330 Waggie ?

a Title search company might come up with the previous
owner - so would a 'hush'- Cop after checking the VIN via their
computers.

if I were you, I'd get a P.O. Box, and post the address
here - this way, no one gets spooked in sending you car parts -
they just:  ...... 'show up'     -  while you send wrapped 
cash...........
