By Monday I should have the membership list restored right up
to 3pmPST Monday. There should end up bein no loss there. The
biggest problem will be people who wanted digest, will likely
be set back to individual, sorry!

By then also the archives should be brought back to 100% also.



The server problem was unforseeable, as those things usually
are; the real problem is that our automatic backup system
failed (12 Dec), and we didn't notice! We have a fix for *that*
(multiple-computer automatic-cross check -- multiple machines
send email to us and cellphones) should any of the cross-checks
fail. Since machines are 1000+ miles apart it will be very
unlikely that all the cross-checks will fail.
