A: Front axles come in 2 widths. Narrow track (all 4 dr and most 2 drs) and 
widetrac (pickups and 2 dr Cherokees with fender flares @75% of the time) 
Rear axles come in 3 widths. NT, WT Cherokee 2 dr and pickups from narrowest 
to widest. The NT is about 1" wider than an XJ axle making it a common swap.

Anyone know the width of a narrow track 84-90 Fullsize SJ Axle?
Talking wheel mounting flange to wheel mounting flange.
