Mike and all,

The Standard Catalog of American motors lists the
shipping weight of the 61 Classic Deluxe 4-door wagon
as 3014 pounds.  Shipping weight is the weight of the
car with standard features (no options), lubricants
and coolant and just enough gas to get it on and off
of the truck to the dealer, generally less than five
gallons.

The Deluxe series came standard with the cast iron 196
OHV engine.  The aluminum block engine is advertised
as weighing 80 pounds less than the cast iron block. 
You shipping weight would therefore be somewhat
lighter than 3014 pounds.
