A: The problem is AC Delco stopped making the AMC filter some time ago and 
Fram's filters suck! (If you don't believe me, take a can opener to one!) 
Wix are far better (NAPA's filters are made by them)

it's been a while since i looked, but ac delco consistently won
all
the comparisons for quality, filtration ability, etc.
