The rest of the whole week is also supposed to have thunder storms every day too. The following sunday's rain date may be rained out at this rate. I have seen many strange things but never the possibility of a shows rain date being rained out. Anyway I have to look at the big picture. I still have work to be done on the car no matter what. Being stuck in the house I am slowly hand painting the individual grill ribs. After 7 hours over the last 3 days I have 1/4 of them done. Seeing the final results finally coming together all I can say is it was worth the work. It should be finished and clear coated by the end of next week. Since the gill is out I will install an auxiliary trans cooler and an auxiliary electric cooling fan in front of the A/C condenser and an aluminum radiator over flow bottle to replace the cheap plastic after market on in the car. Being stuck in the house I can also cut the dark smoke American Motors letters for the windshield tinting job. Universal ones used to be available from Dormans that I have used in the past for different withe moldings but as is my usual luck with this car when I tried to buy them I found that they were no longer available. I have some I bought 5-6 years ago but don't know if I have enough of them. I have to remove and modify the stainless rocker moldings on the car to install the 77 AMX flairs and they also need a good polishing. Also the recessed area that is painted black the paint is worn off and I plan on painting that area orange to match the car.
