 ford 9" housing ends are an easy swap to a 8.75" mopar, then you can
use the late 90's explorer set up. I couldn't be happier with mine and
they are cheaper then the mopar kits (at least last time I looked). They
use an integral parking brake (drum) inside the rotor hat. If you want
pics I could snap some.

The Bendix 4 piston Calipers were used from 1966 to 1970 (not 1971) as
an optional brake on AMC cars. 
 
You might find it feasible to use a Chrysler 8 3/4 (not 1/4) from
something like a Duster and put a MOPAR disc brake conversion on it
