I think the Hemmings attitude about AMC (and Hudson/Nash) is largely due to Patrick Foster's involvement. In the most recent column he disclosed that he had decided to make AMC history his life's work. I know John Mahoney has criticized the Pat Foster versions of AMC history at times, but heck that's about the only widely published version of the story that we (the unwashed owners of these cars) can commonly access. Daniel Strohl was restoring an SX-4 last year in HMM. The project has since dropped off of the map, but hopeufully return. Richard Lentenillo (sp?) I think admitted that he would like to own a few select AMCs if he had his druthers. Joe Fulton Salinas, CA
