Since reading all these little details you've been doing to your car Doc, I've contemplated repainting the black on my 63 Classic grille. I actually went out and stared at it a few minutes. It ain't gonna happen! I contemplated this a couple years ago, but you inspired me to take another look. It's obvious that this thing was painted with a precision cut mask. Fuzzy along the edges. I was thinking about a mile of 3M tape and 5-6 hours of masking *might* come out with an acceptable product... but that's about as far as I got.
