It appears that I finally got the manual choke to work properly I never take anything for granted with this car but it has worked for the last 2 days, we will see if it works this afternoon when I go out. And finally the Delco alt. installation is finished. The steering box covers edge was ground at an angle and the alt. housing itself was ground also. Now it has the clearance it needs so they don't bang against each other when the engine rocks when cold or when you put the car in gear. Now with this done I will start on my grill resto project. This afternoon will pick up some of that 2 part Plastic Welding System epoxy for the repairs to the signal light mounting screw insert areas. The grill appeared not to be damaged until I removed the signal lights. Nothing can ever be simple with this car. I am dreading the painting of the silver details on the grill. I had finished the jig for holding the grill almost 2 weeks ago but have been putting off starting on it, my excuse was I needed to finish the choke and alt. So I guess I will have to start on it. The wife keeps giving me the evil eye every time se looks at the grill in the corner of the living room. :-) "Doc"
