I read the later posts of the swap, and the poster said it sounded like a lot of trouble. It isn't. It is not a walk in the park, but it isn't hard either. A manual swap is easy, you will need the box (67 and up) with pitman arm still attached, rubber biscuit (I cut down a junk tire to make mine), newer column (preferably American, Hornet/Gremmie will work) and usual garage tools and supplys. Just pay attention to where everything comes off. A power box entails the extra pump and assorted hardwear. A spacer comes with it, so grab that. You might need to adapt some washers as shims. But in my 64 is a nice Hornet tilt power set up that looks right at home and with that 2-piece column I can now survive the 60 MPH head on collision with any school bus on the road, and it only took a morning to swap.....Russ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
