Had a good day yesterday. Got my yellow car back after 6 weeks in the upholstery shop. He rebuilt the seats to better than new condition and matched them to my orange car perfectly. The drivers seat was in really bad shape spring and cushion wise. It was well worth the 500$ I spent, and I still have some of the insert material left. I am glad I bought 3 yards instead of 1 1/2 yards. The sill plates are now in the car and all I need is find me a dome light lens in my vast collection of small parts. The rear bumper bolts came off with no problem, one of the benefits of having a 99% rust free car. It had to be removed to install the new rear rubber filler. The old one was trash. The front one gets replaced next week. Rust free Florida body but almost all the rubber and plastic parts were trash from the suns UV rays. I'll take rust free any day. "Doc"
