Central Coast Yard Report

It has been awhile since I have done one of these
reports. I have been busy at work and in only one
junkyard, so that has limited my exposure to other
yards.

I am currently parting out a 63 Classic 550 4-door.
The car has an OHV 196/auto. The car is unusual in
that it has factory air and tinted glass all around.

The tinted windshield and the A/C dash are spoken for.
I'm using the seats in another car. All other parts
including the tinted side and rear glass are
available. Email me off-list.

At Peninsula Auto Wreckers there are the following
cars:

1964 American 4-door 220 model. L-head six/standard
shift. This car is clean, clean, clean. Frost white
w/gray/black interior. No body damage good paint. It
was sitting near a local home for several years. The
property recently changed hands the car ended up in
the junkyard. It is for sale as whole car. The yard
manager has the title. There may be back registration
fees due. I don't know. The yard is asking $600 for
the car. If you saw Steve Magnante's 1960 American in
the recent issue of Hemmings Classic Car and realized
that he was pleased to have spent about $5000 to have
a daily driver Rambler, you will realize what a
bargain this car is. PM me and I'll put you in touch
with the yard manager.

There is also a black (P-1) 1980 Spirit six cylinder
hatchback with the standard floor shift transmission.
Dirty, but not rusty. It will be parted out and I can
pull parts for you. Great grille and other good
moldings.
