Sorry Frank, I'm going with Tom, In fact now that I think about it if I stay with 14" tires I've allready got a complete set of trim rings and caps for it and the red paint on the wheels is to give it some color.  I've also got a full set of wire hubcaps for the Ambassador although they are driver quality at best. They do have some really nice spinners on them. Maybe I'll take the spinners off and mount them to the dogdish caps over the R and run trim rings. Now that would be different!I don't think the body style of the 65 Ambassador will be to out of place with the low gloss look. lets face it, The 65 Ambassador is big. I think I could park the American in it's trunk!

I like the look. Personally, I'd go with low gloss too, and the 
simple bold colors (black, red) but since the ambo has stainless 
and chrome, you'd either have to strip and fill, or simpyl go with 
it!
