nope, just a little experience.

very interesting! so although they used a single casting, they
finished it differently depending on which tranny it went with.

so you're looking for another bell with the sr4/t4/t5 pattern?

planning on a mustang 5.0 t5? as i see it, you have two bolt-together
options:
sr4/t4/t5 bell with gm t5 retainer on the ford tranny
late multipattern bell used with t150 or jeep t176/177/178

the amc sr4/t4/t5 all have ford cases but gm-size 4.64" retainers.
the t150 and t176 series, in the ford toploader family, have 4.85"
retainers, as does the 5.0 t5. if the multipattern bell is actually
drilled and tapped with the t5 pattern as well as the t150 one, this
would be the easiest approach.

iirc the ford t5 should also be just about the same length as a t150,
as well as having the same splines in and out, so a grem/spirit t150
driveshaft and yoke is another bolt-up part.

if the mustang shifter is too far back in your car, a gm s10 t5
extension case and relevant internal linkage bits is your answer. if
you go this far, i'd also suggest the 5speeds.com cluster stabilizer
and the aftermarket 0.8:1 5th, while you have the tranny apart.
