" From: "Joe Wyatt" <jwyattattx@xxxxxxx> " " Looking for a Std Bell Housing and Flywheel for a AMC V-8, 71 or newer. Any " one have one looking to change out an auto to a 5 speed T-5. Call or " E-mail, jwyattattx@xxxxxxxx Mt Pleasant, Texas. you don't want just any stick bell, then. best would be a multipattern bell with the t-96/t-14, t150 toploader, and sr4/t4/t5 patterns on it and the large toploader size retainer hole. second would be a single-pattern sr4/t4/t5 bell with gm size retainer hole. i'm assuming that you'll be putting a mustang 5.0 t5 in. this has the same input and output splines etc as the t150 and i wouldn't be surprised if it has the same length and mount too. if you need a more forward shifter loc, an s10 t5 extension case is the trick. the classic bell for the amc t-10 won't work for your purpose. the only alternative tranny that ever fit it was the nash/richmond 5sp, and they no longer make amc input shafts for it. ________________________________________________________________________ Andrew Hay the genius nature internet rambler is to see what all have seen adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and think what none thought
