If all the numbers match for a true Machine, and it is "rust free" with good glass, and you don't have to pay someone else to work on it, and you are not tying up space for this project I would think a couple of grand is OK if you can swing that amount. The machines (true ones, not clones) are the hot numbers at auctions. I saw one at a auction listed for about 20K. It sounds like the hood is the only Machine specific item missing, every thing else is generic AMC. Are the Machine wheels still on the car? I have seen these on Evil bay for a grand easy and you will need those for a true Machine. I think the hood (if in good shape) will set you back a good amount too, so be prepared for that......Russ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
