I'm right there with you Doc!! I can't say ALL my cars have been AMCs, as my "primary family car" (mainly meaning the wife's car) has always been something different, unless you'll make an exception for the 91 Comanche and 93 Cherokee we had for about three years (one with the Comanche, two the Chero). But MY primary vehicle (the family's "second car") has been an AMC (61-63 Rambler, American for the first 16 years) since 1979 (I graduated in 1980, the first car I bought was a $100 61 American wagon). In all that time I was without a Rambler only when I shipped off for service. Then I bought something else, and it took 16 months before I had to have another! Since 79 those 16 months are the only time I've been without one.
