Amongst the sea of Mustang's, Camero's, Chevelle's and a growing Mopar contingent (Ricer's are not even in my vocabulary) I have driven AMC's for 40 years because I like them, not to fit in with a cookie cutter car could. I been driving them before it was a hobby to me it was a normal way of life and have been looked down on by the big 3 owners or now it is the big 2 and "Das Mopar" for more years than I care to remember. Soon it will be Pford and so solly we now own GM Troyjotas and the other car mfg. Das Mopar. AMC cars have only been getting some respect in the last 5-6 years, but mainly only the muscle cars. The saying in street rodding in the mid 70's to 80's was "Dare To Be Different" Meaning don't build a Pford with a 350/350 Chevy combo. Build a Stude, Nash, Hudson. But unfortunately the easy way out is a 350/350 Chevy combo in everything. I been the "Dare To Be Different" guy my whole 40 years of driving AMC's and now it is time for them to catch up with me. :-) "Doc"
