The good news is that T-5's where used in tons of S-10's with the 60* V-6. The bad news is I believe the trans case was the GM case and is different from the one you will have. Some XJ's used T-5 transmsions for short period around 1985 Find one of those and you are set. The bellhousing will be your biggest stumbling block as far as I can tell. I forgot that some 84-85 XJ Cherokees used a T-5 with the four. But even if found the Chevy T-5 has a long input shaft than Ford and AMC models. The GM transfer case exits on the right side, I believe, not the left like the XJ, but someone needs to verify that. > I believe the AMC 2.5 has the proper bosses to mount the front axle on the Kammback, but check to be sure. IIRC the four cylinders have brackets from either the body or engine mounts to the axle, not to different bosses on the engine as the six cylinder models do. Jamie, you're in the best position to verify that! ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
