Matt, It's good to see that someone else is suffering the same rusted metal projects as my Convertible!!! All in all your quarter does not look much better than what I have to deal with on mine! Of course I have to do both sides! Plus i have some rust infront of the wheels on the quarters. I have a pair of 65 4 door classic quarters to work from. They are in need af very little attention to use on a 4 door, unfortuneatly using them on my convertible won't be quite so easy! If I could just find some way to actually get enough time off in the shop to get something accomplished.
I hope at this point that the weeks around Xmas will net me some of that time.
Since we went on the Cruise last week we won't be doing to much travelling over Xmas and with school out no overtime for at least two whole weeks! I can't wait!!!
Oh, Off topic, the cruise went well, I'd hoped to feel al little more relaxed when I got back, but I came down with a cold that won't go away and I'm still tired! Or more likely should say "burned out" from all the overtime. My boss says there is light at the end of the tunnel for getting some relief from all this overtime, but when I don't know!

I started work on the rusty quarter on my wagon recently. Last Saturday, I started a cuttin' and found a lot more rust than expected (well, more than I hoped for). You can read about my latest exploits at http://www.mattsoldcars.com/RestoreAmerican/wagon_pass_quarter01.shtml.
BTW, I held back some pictures of the rusty metal I removed this time (more due to time restraints than any other reason). If there's interest in seeing the bad stuff, let me know and I'll get it up on my site.
