If you have to change the breaker plate how can you put the points back in on the road if the Petronix fails? The one in my sons Javelin failed after a few years and not that many miles. The MSD I thought might be easier to install and disconnect if it fails but I see from what was said it is not. I think I will be long dead before I use up the 6 sets of points and condensers I have on the shelf. I think I will just keep the fast starting, good gas mileage and peppy engine response I have now rather than going into unknown territory. Call me stubborn and old fashioned. "Doc"
