With the Pertronix you get the best of both worlds -- electronic ignition plus easy on the road fix. Just keep your points and condensor in the glove box. In the unlikely event the Pertronix module fails, you just put the points back in. You'll be pleased if you do the upgrade -- quicker and easier starts, more complete burn so a little better economy. Power you might not notice, though there is a 3-5 hp gain. It's only noticeable if power is marginal now, like in a 2.0L Gremlin/Spirit... The Pertronix module will like the coil also. Doesn't require a distributor change like other electronic ignitions. At least get an MSD 6 -- the points last forever because they are just used as a trigger to fire the MSD 6 box instead of carrying plug voltage through them. ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
