The Mac Mini is terrific....so is the eMac or iMac for that matter. As for software....Apple now ships with a suite of great software....including Safari (Apples own browser...way faster than IE with built in pop-up blocker), iTunes (for music/ipod), iMovie (for making movies), iPhoto (for managing all your photos), iDVD (for burning DVD's if you get a mac with a DVD burner), QuickTime, iWork (trial version of Apples MS Office type product), Preview (like Adobe Acrobat but better...even though it's compatible) and more. Oh yea....and all the "I" products work together. Almost all the software you can get for windows....you can now get for Mac. In fact...the latest version of MS Office for Mac is ahead of the MS Office for windows which has run into delays on getting released....MS Office for mac 2004 has been out for over a year. Quicken, Windows Media Player, PhotoShop, Skype, yada, yada, yada....is all available for Mac and the same price as the Windows version....in fact it's frequently on the same CD. One would just need to know where to look. Best place is your local Apple store or a Comp USA. Good luck...you wont be sorry...I promise. Now.....back to your regularly scheduled AMC program.....
