Frank & Listers, Just to give you a little more to go on about the guys at Zion Auto Body. These guys, Dan (The Owner), His Brother, His Father, Steve (The Bodyman) and Steve's Wife all need great job done sent to them, from each and every one of us. I have not done anything any of you could not have done with a bit of dedication and persistance. I guess I am not afraid to take on a task that I see as doable. I took on this task as Frank said, just to store it until it could find a new home. A Gentleman by the name of Mike Serpe stepped in and did what he could to get its' body work done but it fell through. We all need to look back at the tasks that have been completed everwhere this car has gone. Mine is part is no larger than the guy that put on the lug nuts since if he did not do his part I could never done mine. I am not the MVP in my eyes. The MVP's are the Children that this project was ment to help. I have my health many of these kids do not and without our help may never have 1% of what most of us take for granted. I challange each of us in this Holiday Season, Send a card with some spare left over Christmass shopping money in it to Frank. Lets get an interior bought this year for the Project Charity AMX. If Each One of us can spare that one cup of coffee from starbucks and send it to Frank, we can easily pay for a complete interior. I would love to know why each of us can not give up one cup of coffee or a couple bottles of water or soda this season to make our project continue the mission as that was started many years ago. Send a Christmass gift to the thousands of children these charities help each year. Look at all of the people who gave of their time, products and just plain cash to get this project this far. What's wrong with the rest of us? Is the coffee, water or soda to much to give? I sure hope not, because if it is, your money should be going to better places than an AMC! WHAT CAN WE ACHEIVE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON??? With all of us on this list, everyone's little bit can go a very long way. I am committed to see this project through to completion, Even if members of AMO, NAMDRA and all of the other clubs here in the midwest and north can not step up to the plate and do their part with their time and tools. I would greatfully turn this project over to the next club to continue on with the completion. So who is it going to be? Or do Frank and I have to do this ourselves. I am sorry for offending anyone on this list. I guess see things in a greater picture after things in my life, including taking care of a disabled parent for the last two years, just a little differantly. Life is to short to keep everything to myself, I guess I may even have smaller problems that some of you but larger than some as well, and if I can find the time and the guys at Zion Autobody can find the time, Why Can't You? On an up note, our project is not the lone AMX at the Zion Shop. Right next to it is another BBO AMX that is being completed as we speek. There is also a Dodge Charger that is there and a first generation Camaro. Steve used to own a Javelin many years ago as well. This shop does nothing but first class work. When I looked at the job that was done to both quarter panels I can not believe that there was anything ever done. They look like the day it had the original body assembled here in Kenosha 35 years ago I thank Those of you who have donated parts, supplies, money and mostly TIME since that is what we all need more of each day. Just remember that money can not buy everything this world has to offer, sometimes your time is what is needed. Let the flaming begin. David W. De Labio gremlin1@xxxxxxxxxxx
