Yeah, but you were running a little T-96 three speed. The T-96J has a slightly larger input shaft and bearing, and was used behind the 232 in small cars, but it didn't last long behind a stock 4.0L either. Well, let me correct that -- the synchronizer didn't last long. The rest of the trans is still in good shape, just looks like it has 40-50K on it instead of 20-25K.
