Gotta love it! Quick question: years ago I was told that inline sixes were inherently smooth operation. Is this true? Is so, what is it that makes them smooth? Is this true for some I6's or all? Background: I have been daily driving my 72 gremlin 258 that prior to my ownership sat for about 18-20 years. Nobody has gone into the engine, just the simple stupid things that you expect it would need and routine maint. As I continue to rack up the miles, it "seems" to be becoming smoother (after about 9-12000 miles I put on) I would be guessing that it has "de-gunk-ified" but I dunno... just happy! (I'm gonna get me another AMC I6 some day...) Thanks!! Thomas L Middlemast
