I'm not sure about the side plates on the engine. They are likely unique to the Jeep -- it depends on how closely the molds for the block are related to the six. 4.0L blocks have four bolt bosses cast on each side in a trezoidal pattern. The front three are used for car engine mounts, the back three for Jeep mounts. So at worst you'll only have two bolt holding the mounting plates on IF the 2.5L four has only the three Jeep mounting points, AND they are the same as the 4.0L. I'll try to remember to check my 93 Cherokee TSM when I get home. You might want to send me an e-mail reminder so I see it when I'm at my home desk with access to my library.
