There is no user "jlascot" on the list. I DID change his settings to digest some time ago. Apparently he unsubscribed himself in an effort to kill the problem. The "anti-spam" system has apparently "latched onto" some of your e-mail addresses and won't let go. I stopped getting them long ago, but I "allowed" my address (and I did get 3-4 messages after allowing). This thing is persistant, apparently. I suggest you complain to the company, that's all that can be done at this point. Just in case, someone send me (post here) the exact e-mail address for jlascot so I can check again. Before anyone gets bent out of shape over this, there is no way Mr. Ascot could know the software/company would have this kind of effect on a mailing list subscription. I don't think anyone here would have suspected such an outcome either. The list software can't filter it because it's not a virus, and after the list goes out the anti-spam software gets the e-mail addresses and everything works from there. The software probably scans incoming messages for ALL e-mail addresses. That's a flawed way to work -- should only scan "from" and maybe "CC" line for incoming addresses. So send flames to the company, not the victims (which in this case includes Mr. Ascot)! While I don't mind discussion of a list problem on the list, please send complaints directly to my e-mail address (farna@xxxxxxx). I'll make a post concerning anything affecting many people on the list later. Be aware that there are some things, like this anit-spam software, are beyond anyone's control (other than the company).
