It's obvious that everyone on the list doesn't have the same education level or writing abilities. I know some people that never graduated high school who can write extremely well, and some with doctorates who's writing would make you cringe. I alos know high school drop outs that can hardly write, but I'd let work on my engine any day of the week -- would PREFER them, actually. Then there are the new, "highly educated" mechanics who graduated from high school AND Something or Other Technical Institute that don't know how to read a spark plug or diagnose engine problems without a computer pointing them in the right direction. Think about that when you read some of those ads -- might be Billy Bob mechanic who really knows his stuff but can barely read and write, but can make an engine sing like a song bird! Let's not be to hasty to judge each other. As John pointed out, he must have had a bad day, nothing better to do than correct grammar on a car nut list!!
