Ken, My 65 Drum Brake 990H flood car appears to have standard drum brakes and not the hard to find parts for ones. I forget which is which. Your 66 Classic being a drum brake car should have the same. My 65 Ambassador seems to have matching drums front and rear. It appears that You can use the front drums on the rear by knocking the studs out of them and removing the drum. Anyone know if this is true? Also who still makes replacement 10" drums? One of mine is a nice vained type drum and I would like to get one more to match and have it drilled by CH Topping. Are the drums between the two different types of brakes the same? Yes, you can use any of the disc brake setups on this car. I'm going to be moving up to power brakes on the American or I'd offer you the complete setup off of my parts car as my Convertible allready has power. I'm sure someone here can help you get the right power brake setup for the car. Is this the year that disc's from 80's and up concord can be easily retrofitted, but the rears seems to be an issue. since its a v-8, I assume they are the 10 inch drums all around. but the front drum parts seem not a major problem.
