This works well on new glass only! Old glass will crack all most every time you try it! A friend of mine did a windshield for a chopped Ford truck. He bought tape from a tombstone place and taped it off. He tried three used windshields and all cracked. Bought a new one and it went perfect with no problem at all. Sand blast the first glass layer. Probably could tape both sides and blast both layers at same time I would assume. Cut the "plastic film" inside with a razor knife. take belt sander and contour and smooth edge. > >If can be done at home, do not see why a glass shop could not as well. > > > >On August 29, 2005 Brien Tourville wrote: > >> >> Can a Glass shop cut a late model windshield in half ? >> >> >> >> Brien. >> NEW YORK >> eagle registry #501 >> >> eagle kammback registry > > >============================================================= >Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist > > > > > >
